INTRODUCTION TO WORLD RANGOLI FLOWER CARPET SINGAPORE 2026
Held from 5th February 2026 to 8th February 2026 at Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre, 1, Straits Boulevard, Singapore 018906
35 International flower carpet artists from Spain, Italy, Mexico, Japan, Malaysia, and India, joined hands with more than 50 high calibre Singapore rangoli artists to provide a magical feast of floral fantasy. In a rare convergence of traditions, intricate Rangolis jostled with stunning Infioratas, eye catching Catifa de flors, bewitching Alfombras, and breathtaking Hana no Juutan in one shared creative space to create a glorious mix of flour, flowers and fantasy.
The programme was organised by Singa Rangoli supported by its International partner CIDAE (Coordinadora International de Entitdades de Alfambristas de Arte Efimoro of Spain), and was titled “World Rangoli Flower Carpet Singapore 2026” an iconic confluence of East and West which was held for the very first time in Singapore at Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre, 1, Straits Boulevard, Singapore 018906 from 5th February 2026 to 8th February 2026.
Guest of Honour Mr Dinesh Vasu Dash, Minister of State, Ministry of Community, Culture and Youth and Ministry of Manpower along with his petite wife Dr Rathika inaugurated the World Rangoli Flower carpet by placing Orchids on the Singapore Rangoli carpet on the evening of 5th of February. Dignitaries included the Ambassador of Mexico to Singapore, Malaysian Minister (Economic), Cultural representatives from Malaysian, Spanish and Mexican Embassy and CEOs and CFOs from Corporate organisations and leaders from various Social organisation
